I would like to contribute to a practical healthcare interoperability showcase that demonstrates how HL7 FHIR and openEHR can work together on an open platform. My goal is to help translate a concrete clinical use case into a meaningful data model, architecture and prototype that can support long-term, structured and reusable patient data
I am a physician and medical informatics specialist from Switzerland with extensive experience in the design and implementation of clinical information systems. My focus is on structured clinical documentation, electronic health records, interoperability and open platform architectures in healthcare.
I am particularly interested in combining openEHR, HL7 FHIR and clinical terminologies such as SNOMED CT to create clinically meaningful, vendor-neutral and reusable health data. For this programme, I would like to contribute my clinical and informatics perspective to a practical healthcare interoperability showcase, using the Swiss vaccination record as an example.
